Stan is a multi-hyphenate media writer, producer, director, editor, distributor and author. Since the mid-1970s he's written, produced, directed, edited, and distributed hundreds of programs for corporations, entertainment and cable television...oh, and one PBS documentary. He has a BA in Physics, an MA in Mass Communications, and a PhD in Narrative Theory. In 2006 Michael Wiese Books published Stan's book, The Moral Premise: Harnessing Virtue and Vice for Box Office Success. Almost immediately he was asked to give workshops on the topic, which he has done across the country, most notably in Los Angeles and S.E. Michigan where he resides. He has also been asked to consult on numerous obscure and major motion picture projects, the latter of which have grossed over a billion dollars worldwide. The training linked on this blog is an outgrowth of all that work and repeated requests to make the training widely and readily available.
